Calling
God has a plan for every one of our lives and when God calls you to take action it is important to step out in faith and answer your calling. In my case, God has called me to become a Van Life Evangelist.
“As we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
Listen to God’s whispers
“Many are the plans’s in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21
I prayed for guidance and then went out and purchased a van
Listen to what God places upon your heart. I prayed a lot about the outcome of buying a van and then I allowed the Holy Spirit to lead me. Initially my first purchase was not the van, but personalised number plates V4N LIF3. Next God helped me to find a van to purchase and also to decide on a name for the van ….. FAITH
I had to find somewhere suitable for doing the van conversion
After purchasing the van, I had to put it into a storage facility until I could find a place where I could undertake the van conversion. Once again I prayed a lot about the outcome and then being lead by the Holy Spirit, God enabled me to rent a 4 bedroom house with a lock up double garage at the end of a cul-de-sac surrounded by beautiful nature.
Then I purchased tools and proceeded to start the van conversion
God is always with me so I had faith and trusted in the Lord as I went ahead and purchased tools. Then I took action and got started on undertaking the van conversion. I did lots of research by watching multiple YouTube videos on how to do van conversions, and I was always being guided by God’s will (not my own will).
Take Action
Even though I have never done anything like this in my entire life, it is God’s will and calling, so I chose to take action and embrace the challenge to convert a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van into a Camper van.
